Fix cascadia mono missing in visual studio without rebooting

  • Open the path C:\Windows\Fonts
  • Lookup the Cascadia fonts. There should be 2, CascadiaCode.ttf and CascadiaMono.ttf.
  • Double-click on each font file.
  • A window will open, previewing the font. In the top toolbar, click Install.
  • Now restart Visual Studio. Once again, you’ll see your code represented in a pretty font.

You can also download the latest version and install both CascadiaCode.ttf and CascadiaMono.ttf under the tff directory
